Computer Graphics

  • It is an art of drawing pictures, lines, charts, etc, on the computer screen by using a programming language.
  • For the creation and manipulation of pictures on display devices as well as storing, modifying, representing images computers will be used often.
  • In computer graphics objects are introduced as a group of discrete image (pixel) elements.
  • pixel is the smallest screen element

Application of Computer Graphics

  • Education and Training: In educational aids, often Computer-generated model of the economic system, financial, and physical used
  • Flight Simulator: very helpful in pilot’s training of airplanes. These pilots spend much of their training not in a real aircraft but on the ground at the controls of a Flight Simulator

Why computer graphics used?

Suppose a company wants to show some vast amount of information without graphics it takes a lot of time and memory. For a common man, it will be touch t understand. In this situation, graphics tools like charts and graphs are better alternatives. 

The concept of computer graphics is very useful in two-way communication between computer users. An input device sends singles to a computer for modification of the picture accordingly. The picture will be changed quickly when we apply the command.
